A connection to the right resource
Often the hardest part is not knowing where to look. We help you work out what you actually need and who provides it, and we stay with you while you get there.
For youth and families facing real life challenges: someone to listen, help you figure out what you need, and keep you company along the way.

What practical support is
It’s the help that sits alongside mentoring: a connection to the right resource, a hand with what’s in front of you, and encouragement that keeps coming. We walk alongside people rather than doing things for them, because a hard season gets lighter when someone stays in it with you, not when someone hands over a plan and leaves.
See everything we doIt isn’t a form you file and then wait on. It starts with a conversation.
It isn’t a single hand-off. We’d rather stay in it with you than solve one thing and disappear.
It isn’t a promise that we can fix everything. When something is beyond us, we’ll help you find somewhere better.
What help actually looks like
Some things we can help with directly, others we can connect you to.
Not sure whether what you’re facing fits? Ask anyway.

Who this is for
Practical support is for youth, young adults, and families in the middle of a hard stretch, whether that’s one thing that has gone wrong or a season that has been heavy for a while. Nothing needs to be figured out before you get in touch.
Come as you are.
Asking is often the hardest part. After that, it’s just a conversation about what would help.
Reaching out for someone else?
You can reach out for yourself or on behalf of someone you know.
How to ask
Call
(513) 537-4951Hours
Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:00pm
We’ll be in touch soon.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988.
Email, call, or send a message from our contact page. Asking doesn’t commit you to anything.
In your own words. It comes straight to our team.
Then we work out together what’s realistic and what the next step could be.
Not a hand-off. We keep in touch, and mentoring is there if you’d like someone for the longer road.
Alongside this
If one of these fits your situation better, start there instead. It’s the same conversation either way.
The best way to find out is to ask. Practical support is hands-on help and guidance for youth and families in hard seasons, plus a connection to other resources. Tell us what you’re facing and we’ll work out the next step with you. If mentoring or seasonal support fits better, we’ll point you there.
Our office hours are Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:00pm, and we’ll be in touch soon. How long anything takes after that depends on what you’re asking for, and we’ll let you know once we understand what’s needed.
